Client TestimonialsI would be glad to fill you in on my experience. As we began to plan our house hunting trip to the Chapel Hill area, I started searching the Internet for all of the realtor websites. I wrote letters to about 8 realtors. It was my experience that most realtors, unless you are planning to buy, will not offer to help you find rental property. For me, this was a key factor because it met an immediate need which would take care of our family until we could reach our goal to build a home. Out of the 8 realtors that I wrote, only 3 offered to help us find a rental home. In the meantime, we chose Susan because she was very diligent to write to us almost every day. She gave us weather reports and was one of two realtors who sent us a comprehensive portfolio in the mail. Her pictured business card was included with a ton of information about the area including maps, schools, RTP where my husband now works, churches, etc. The net that she threw out was comprehensive in nature and helped us to get a geographical picture of the area with relation to my husband's office. I was very impressed with Susan's endurance, diligence, and willingness to go all out for people she had never met. She went over and above the call of duty. I knew when she represented herself to me in this way with helping us find a rental home as well as how she stayed in touch with me on the Internet, that she would go the extra mile in most things to help us build our home. Susan is a real go-getter. She is a prudent, conscientious, time-sensitive, straight-shooter who won my confidence.
All in all I would have to say that our #1 choice was based on Susan's diligent, relentless pursuit of winning my confidence that sold me. Communication was a key factor in that Susan stayed in touch and offered to help me in every area of our move including finding us a moving company to help us unpack our container and household goods. It's a good feeling when you are making a trans-continental move to know that someone is in your court who will ease your mind, unruffle your feathers, and lend a helping hand to assist you in making a smooth transition. Having just completed the purchase of a new house and the sale of our previous residence, David and I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with our realtor, Susan Sommer. She was just wonderful to work with -- informed, responsive, and extremely professional. I learned a lot from Susan, both while I was looking at houses and during the purchasing phases. She pointed out features (and sometimes problems) on houses she showed us that we might have missed. We had very specific location requirements, and Susan contacted us about openings in those locations when they arose. She showed us many, many houses, always with a cheerful smile. She also helped us immensely during the contract negotiations. When we found a house to purchase, Susan was equally proficient at selling our existing house. She advertised extensively, held open houses, and was extremely successful at bringing agents, their clients, and other prospective buyers to the house. She stayed calm when we got anxious, and was always available to answer questions. We sold our house for our asking price thanks to all of Susan's hard work.
Susan was very supportive throughout our buying and selling experience. I am only sorry that I will be seeing less of her now that we have found our house Coldwell Banker HPW is fortunate to have an agent like Susan Sommer, and, because of her, we are very satisfied customers.
